End of 2007 Team Report
SAN DIEGO , CA – Novemeber 2007
We have quickly reached the end of the 2007 Season! Some of you may be wondering where our other quarterly updates have been... we have often wondered that ourselves!
Despite ups and downs, 2007 has been a great year for BiG HEADz Racing. Not as much racing as we would have liked, but the all mighty dollar (or lack thereof) has hampered some of our ability to participate! Increased gasoline prices, tire prices, and general racing "fees" all have played a part in keeping some of us off the starting grid. Our team has also recently suffered some crash related injuries so we wish nothing but the best to them as they use the end of the season to heal and get ready for next year!
When we were able to get on the track, the team has really come together with support during WSMC Toyota 200 Qualifying as well as cornerworking functions with SoCalTrackDays. As 2007 winds down you'll find most of us "training" for 2008 on our dirt bikes out in the desert or local MX park!
BiG HEADz 2007 has a solid number of riders and while most of us are in the Southern California area, a couple of our racers have relocated. Although a few thousand miles away, they are still very much part of the team. Their contributions now come by way of New York and temporarily Djibouti!!! Yup. BiG HEADz in Africa!
While motorcycles and racing is our hobby passion, most of us still do have day jobs and must find a way to earn money to support this addiction!
We would like to thank SoCalTrackDays, Lockhart Phillips & 70/30 Racing, Sidi Boots, ACT Racing, GPR Stabilizer, Scorpion USA and Mike LaPutt of Trackday.net for what they give not only to BiG HEADz Racing, but to the entire sport of motorcycling. We look forward to hopefully working with you in 2008 and beyond!
